Professional qualification: Swimming pool installation and maintenance technician

At the end of the training course, the trained professional will be able to work on indoor or outdoor swimming pools, for private individuals, users who make professional use of them (e.g. gîtes, guest houses) or, in certain cases, for private collective residences.

In this context, he will be able, in compliance with safety and prevention instructions:

- monitor the implementation of pools and carry out the organisation and monitoring of the pool installation site;

- supervise a team of fitters and validate the key stages in the construction of a pool;

- manage the sorting and traceability of all waste produced by his/her actions to make it recoverable in an eco-responsible approach;

- carry out the design of technical installations related to the pool and necessary for its proper operation.

- initiate commissioning, and preventive and curative maintenance of equipment and accessories.

- carry out advisory actions with customers, both on use, risk prevention, water management and the evolution of installations.

- carry out sales of consumables or accessories as part of its maintenance actions

Certificate of competence 1: installing and renovating a swimming pool basin

• Organising and monitoring the installation or renovation of a swimming pool basin structure
• Implanting or renovating networks, hydraulic networks, equipment and accessories in a swimming pool
• Install or renovate electrical networks, equipment and accessories in a swimming pool
• Fit a liner and reinforced membrane type pool waterproofing

Certificate of competence 2: commissioning a swimming pool

• Checking the installation of a swimming pool and its accessories before commissioning
• Commissioning a swimming pool installation and accessories
• Informing and advising customers on the operation and running of their swimming pool installation

Certificate of competence 3: To carry out maintenance on a swimming pool

• To carry out preventive maintenance on the installation and accessories of a swimming pool
• To carry out curative maintenance on the installation and accessories of a swimming pool
• To provide technical advice and upgrade solutions on the installation and accessories of a swimming pool

The B2V test and BR restrictive authorisations in "swimming pool assembly and repair", or chemical risk by handling products (chlorine, hydrogen peroxide, sulphuric acid) are passed during the training period.

• Professional qualification from the Ministry of Labour Level 4 (Baccalauréat, BP, BT)
